PARISH, NY-Theresa E. Beauvais, a vibrant soul who brought light and laughter to everyone she met, left this world on May 21, 2025 at the age of 60. Theresa was born on February 6, 1965 in Syracuse, NY. Theresa spent her life spreading love and kindness wherever she went. She was a nurturing soul with an infectious spirit.
Theresa dedicated her life raising five daughters; Gloria, Shonna, Shannon, Cynthia and Shantel along with her niece Jasmine and nephew Rafeal (deceased). Her home was the heartbeat of family gatherings growing up; filled with love, laughter and good memories. Theresa was a mother to all who crossed her path, offering support and guidance with unwavering generosity; even when times were tough. Those who knew Theresa will remember her for her sparkling blue eyes, meticulous personality and a zest for life. Her humor would light up a room and her nurturing nature made everyone feel like they belonged. Everyone she met has a story of how she impacted their lives. Her laughter and love for her family was a testament to her incredible character. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will inspire those who knew her.
Theresa was pre-deceased by her husband Bruce Beauvais; her daughter, Gloria Gibson; her father, Donald Sweeting Sr. and her two brothers, Edward Lazore and Donald Sweeting Jr.
Theresa is survived by four daughters, Shonna, Shannon, Cynthis and Shantel; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandson; her mother, Mary Edison; two sisters, Brenda McTeo and April Sweeting.
A Funeral Service to Celebrate Theresa's life will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 2983 W. Main Street, Parish, NY. Relatives and Friends are invited to a Calling Hour from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
