Age 69, of Scott Twp., passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024. Beloved wife of Michael Pendleton; loving mother of Nathan Pendleton (Kylie), Jonathan Pendleton, and David Pendleton (Julie Kean); grandmother of Nolan Pendleton; sister of Jim Ciarrocca (Ruth) and the late John Humes; and daughter of the late Amilcare and Viola Ciarrocca. She is also survived by Julie’s sons, Kenny and Griffen Kean.
Mary was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt and her newest and dearest role of grandmother. She was a devoted member of the OLG women's guild and to various church and school functions as an avid volunteer for many years. She was an avid bible studier, wine club enthusiast, beloved friend to many and caring family member to an extended family tree spanning this country and beyond. Mary loved to read and test her mind often with puzzles and sudoku along with mahjong. She loved many crafts including knitting and crochet.
Mary was a 1977 Seton Hill College graduate and graduated with a 4.0 GPA with her master’s degree in organizational leadership from Geneva College. She enjoyed her social connections to her Alma mater at Seton Hill. Mary was the Treasurer of Troop 262, helping her sons become Eagle Scouts. She was very much a baker and cook in her healthier years and loved to organize family reunions.
All are welcome on Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20, 2-8 PM, WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 15220 (412-563-2800). Mass of Christian Burial, Monday October 21, 10 AM, Our Lady of Grace Church, St. Michael the Archangel Parish. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
