Mary Elaine Raines went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 2, 2025. Elaine was born on August 19, 1934, in Bayonne, New Jersey, to William and Anna (Orlovsky) Houk. Elaine married Lewis Edgar Raines, Jr on August 15, 1953, at Hamilton Air Force Base in Novato, California. They shared sixty-one wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 2014. Together they built a beautiful life and a loving family.

Elaine was a homemaker and a prayer warrior. She was an active member of Racine Christian Church where she faithfully led the Card Ministry for several years.

Elaine is survived by her daughter Deborah Doss, grandson Adam (Andrea) Doss, great-grandchildren, August and Ella Doss, granddaughter Susan Doss, great-grandson Kendon Doss, great-great-grandchildren Roman and Legend Doss, great granddaughter Kailee Doss, great-great-grandchildren Noah and Paris, great grandchildren, Jakobi Doss and Kason Reynolds, granddaughter Kristen Paxson, great-grandchildren Keagen, Elias, and Gabrielle Paxson; son, Dan Raines, grandson Jonathan Raines, great-grandchildren Sawyer Raines and London Ferguson, grandson Christopher (Selena) Raines, and great-grandchildren Brooklynn and Gabriel Raines; and sons Don (Donna) Raines, and Lewis (Janet) Raines III.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her stepson Mike Webb, and her great-grandson Denver Lansaw.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am on Monday, October 6, 2025, at Racine Christian Church. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am, also at Racine Christian Church, where the casket will be closed. Interment will be at Neosho IOOF Cemetery where a Graveside Service will be held, immediately following the funeral.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to American Rehabilitation Ministries c/o Clark Funeral Home PO Box 66 Neosho, Missouri 64850.

Services are under the personal care and direction of Clark Funeral Homes.
