Ballston Lake- Mary Ann Renzi, 83, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025, at her home in Ballston Lake, NY. Born on June 8, 1942, in Troy, NY, Mary Ann lived a life marked by devotion to her family, her faith, and her community. Mary Ann's early years were spent in the city of her birth, where she attended Troy High School, laying the foundation for her future endeavors. After graduation, she worked at the Department of Motor Vehicles in Albany as a key punch operator, before embarking on a career in banking with Pioneer and Fleet Bank. Her work ethic and attention to detail were commendable, but it was her role as Homemaker that she flourished in and cherished the most. When her children were born in 1967 and 1969, Mary Ann embraced the joys of motherhood, creating a warm and loving home that was the heart of her family's life. Her marriage to Michael was a testament to love and partnership. Having met through a mutual friend's wedding, Mary Ann and Michael tied the knot on April 30, 1966. Their marriage was a harmonious blend of mutual respect and shared values, celebrated in their 59th anniversary shortly before her passing. Mary Ann's Christian faith was the cornerstone of her existence. She taught Sunday School at Pilgrim Holiness Church and Sonrise Bible Church, sharing her faith and wisdom with the younger generations. As an avid gardener, her flower gardens reflected her inner beauty, tended with the same love and care she gave to every aspect of her life. Her selflessness knew no bounds. Mary Ann was the embodiment of a faith-filled and loving individual, always placing the needs of others before her own. She was deeply involved in charitable work, particularly with the group "World Help", demonstrating her commitment to making the world a better place. Mary Ann's legacy is one of unwavering love and generosity. She was a woman who lived by example, teaching all who knew her the value of kindness and the importance of faith. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved her, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles Davidson and Anna (nee: Cooke) Davidson and her beloved cat of 19 years, Mow. In addition to her devoted husband, Mary Ann is survived by her children, Michael Renzi (Manilath) and Renee Young (Jeffrey); grandchildren, Morgan (Matthew), Jessica (Ryan), Logan and Camden; great- grandchild, Finnegan and brothers, George Davidson (Jane) and Charles Davidson (the late Joyce). Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 4pm to 6pm at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, Glenville with a memorial service to immediately follow.
