She is also survived by her 3 children, who had the greatest first teacher in the world, Mary Marlene Jr. (spouse Andrew), Charles (spouse Karen) and Kevin. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren Angela, Colleen, Hilary, Richard and Daniel. There are 11 great grandchildren surviving and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by friend Steve and their family dog Max.
Mary Marlene taught in Rochester City Schools for years and felt guided by the hand of God to complete her teaching career at Holy Cross school where she taught pre school until her retirement. She is well loved by the school's staff and students.
Mary Marlene is a communicant of Saint Paul's Church Webster and was also a great friend of Father Paul and Deacon Mark and his wife Barb. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be given to Saint Paul's church. Calling hours are Tuesday, February 25th at Anthony Funeral Chapel, Webster from 2-4 pm. Mass of Christian burial at Saint Paul's church Webster at 10 am Wednesday, February 26.

I taught with Mary for many years at Holy Cross, and she was my son´s preschool teacher there as well. Mary was the kindest, sweetest person and teacher! She was such a caring mentor to me when I started my teaching career... I learned so much from her! I can still hear her little ones singing "Good Monday , Good Monday, Good Monday to you..." across the hall! Sending so much sympathy to Don and the whole family... heaven welcomed a beautiful angel and earth is less because of it! Rest in peace, dear Mary!
