RICHMOND, Ind. - Mary Elizabeth Siebert, age 91, of Richmond, Indiana, died Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at her home in Friends Fellowship Community.Mary was born July 2, 1933, in Marion, Ohio, to Lawrence and Nellie Stumbo Kline. She graduated from Claridon High School in 1951, and attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and The Ohio State University. Mary was married to Dr. Richard Walter Siebert on March 25, 1956. Dick and Mary moved to Richmond in 1957, where they raised their four children. They were active, life-long members of the Richmond community. She worked at the Columbus Ohio Health Department, was a secretary at Test Junior High School and was the office manager at Animal Hospital of Richmond. Mary was a member of First English Lutheran Church, Tri Kappa Sorority, Delta Zeta Sorority, and Forest Hills Country Club. She served on the board of AAUW Nursery School and Reid Health Foundation, was past PTO president at Vaile Elementary and Test Junior High School and was involved in various other community events. Mary was an avid Ohio State University sports fan and enjoyed vacationing at Sanibel Island.Survivors include her daughters, Julie (Sam) Cain of Louisville, Kentucky, Molly (Glen) Templin of Parker, Colorado, and Millie (Phil) Dickman of Richmond; son, Judson Siebert of Granite Springs, New York; grandchildren, Alex (Holly) Cain, Madeline Cain, Max (Alley) Cain, Richard Siebert and William Siebert, Lydia (MJ) McPeek, Forrest (Lauren) Templin, Bergen Templin, and Hadley Templin, Henry (Ally) Dickman, Lillian Dickman, and George Dickman; great-grandchildren, Zoe, Ava, Rosie, and Ruby Cain, Keller and Rhodes McPeek, Lewis Templin, Arthur and Louise Dickman; brother, Lawrence Kline and his wife, Maripat, who was like a sister to Mary; nieces; nephews; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Richard Walter Siebert, who died in 2019 after 63 years of marriage; parents; and sister, Joy Dahill.Visitation for Mary Elizabeth Siebert will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2024, at First English Lutheran Church, 2727 East Main Street, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2024, at First English Lutheran Church with Pastor Chip Belanga officiating. Burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made to: First English Lutheran Church, 2727 East Main Street, Richmond, IN 47374 or Reid Foundation, 1100 Reid Parkway, Richmond, IN 47374.Condolences may be sent to the family via the guest book at www.doanmillsfuneralhome.com.
