Mary Steed Obituary
She was born on June 9, 1928, in Heflin, Alabama, to the late John Weaver and Birtie Myers Weaver. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, going to the Senior Center and was a member of Glenloch Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Barbara Steed; her daughter, Annette Gilbert; grandchildren, Eric Kenworthy, Lindi Gilbert, Andi Grant; five great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Lance Jack Steed; her granddaughter, Katherine Davis; her son, Butch Steed; her daughter, Joy Gross and numerous brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 1 pm until 2 pm.
The funeral service will follow the visitation at 2pm in the chapel of Almon Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Carroll Memory Gardens.
