Martha R. Steed ObituaryEAST LIVERPOOL – Martha R. Steed, 93, of East Liverpool, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Calcutta Health Care Center.
Martha was born on June 22, 1931, in Chester, WV, a daughter of the late Thurman and Gladys A. (Hallett) McCormack. She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School.
Preceding Martha in death were her sons-in-law R. Stephen Young and Frank M. Young and brother George McCormack.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 75 years, whom she married November 4, 1949, Robert R. Steed; two daughters Barbara A. Mick and her husband George P. and Patricia J. Young; son James R. Steed; four grandchildren Michelle L. Mackey and her husband Donnie, Brian G. Mick and his wife Julie, Michael S. Young and David A. Young; five great-grandchildren Josh Mackey, Zackery Mick, Jordan Mick, Andrea McKenzie and Kamryn Young and four great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit Friday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. Evangelist Will Montgomery will conduct a funeral service on Saturday 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Private burial at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Following the service the family will gather at the Dawson Family Center for a time of fellowship.
