EAST LIVERPOOL – Dolores L. Gacesa, of East Liverpool, passed away Monday evening, June 23, 2025, at the Orchards of East Liverpool, following a brief illness. She was 94 years old.
Born in East Liverpool, March 18, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Myrtle Strotman Woomer. An East Liverpool High School graduate, she was a homemaker and was a member of the Etruria Street Church of God. She was an avid Potters football and Steelers fan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Gacesa, whom she married July 31, 1955. She was also preceded by a son, Ronald K. Gacesa, two sisters, Evelyn Broadbent and Iladene McHenry, a daughter-in-law, Teresa Sullivan, a son-in-law, Kenny Pridemore, and two nephews Keith Broadbent and Robert Broadbent, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: a daughter, Marsha Pridemore, and two sons, Michael "Greg" Gacesa, and Jeff Gacesa, as well as three grandchildren: Aimee Pridemore (Jonathan Nolan), Michael Pridemore and Jeffrey Pridemore. She is also survived by nieces Karen Broadbent and Vicki Broadbent, and dear family members Tawny Broadbent, and Sean Broadbent (Tricia) and their two sons
Rev. Norman Eckert will conduct a funeral service Monday, June 30th, at 1:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
