Mary L. Stiller, a beloved matriarch, passed away at the age of 97 on November 28, 2025, in New Albany, Indiana. Born on August 17, 1928, in Clark County, Indiana, she lived a life dedicated to her family and community.
Mary devoted over 15 years of her professional life to General Electric, contributing her skills and perseverance to the production line. She was known for her kind heart and her immense love for children, always caring and providing for those around her.
An avid gardener and seamstress when she was younger, Mary found joy in creating beauty both in her home and in the lives of those she loved. Her greatest pride was being a grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. The time she spent with her grandchildren was truly the highlight of her life, and she cherished every moment shared with them.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Karen (Bruce) Nethery; son, Robert (Connie) Stiller; grandchildren, Deric Stiller and Chris (Tiffany) Nolot; great grandchildren, Cody, Brady, and Brooklynn; three great great grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Stiller; her parents, Theodore and Leona Rake; and her siblings.
