Mary Strunk

Mary Lee Strunk, 77, of Beaverton, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at the Horizon Senior Living, Gladwin. She was born on December 8, 1943, the daughter of Ivan and Marietta (Spencer) Swetnich in Detroit. On January 21, 1961, she was united in marriage to her true love Carthel "Cork" Strunk in Warren. He preceded her in death in 2016. She prepared taxes for many years operating Beaverton Tax Service until her retirement. She was a devoted member of Grace Baptist Church in Gladwin.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughters: Brenda (Randy) Osborn of Clinton Township; Noreen (Kevin) Ferguson of Shelby Township. She was blessed with 8 beautiful grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters: Phyllis Strunk of Gladwin and Debbie Valko of Gladwin; along with several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter: Linda Heiple.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. She will be laid to rest at Grout Twp. Cemetery, Gladwin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made according to the wishes of the family.
