Mary A. Sutt

Mary Anne Sutt, 73, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 8, 2025. She was born on September 23, 1952, in Beech Grove, IN to the late Terrell Denny and Jean Irene (Spurgin) Denny.
Mary was a member of Capital City Baptist Church for the last 45 years, a loving, committed Sunday School teacher, and a devoted prayer warrior for all. She had a love for lighthouses, wind chimes, hummingbirds, lilacs, music, people and children from all walks of life, and the Lord. Mary enjoyed playing cards, spending time with family, praying for those in need, and caring for others.
Mary is survived by her loving and faithful husband of 53 years, Clifton Sutt; 3 sons, Andy, Randy, Jeffrey, and daughter-in-law Lisa; 12 grandchildren, Emily, Hannah, Jeffrey Jr., Anna, Elizabeth, Scotty, Ryan, Clayton, Isaiah, Luke, Christian, Jessica; 9 great grandchildren; and her sister, Nancy Denny. Her family, always first and foremost in her life, will forever remember her, and she is already dearly missed.
Mary was preceded in death by her brother, John Denny, her father Terrell Denny, her mother Jean Denny, and her daughter Jeanie Sutt.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm at Capital City Baptist Church, 1002 W. Edgewood Avenue, Indianapolis, IN.
Arrangements have been entrusted to G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Indianapolis, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mary Anne's name to Capital City Baptist Church or to the family to help with funeral expenses.
