Mary L. Vannoy

Mary L. Vannoy, age 75, of Mentor, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 22, 1950, in Euclid, to the late Charles and Illena Anderson. Mary touched the lives of many through her warmth, creativity, and unwavering devotion to her family. A cherished wife to her husband Harry for 52 years, Mary was a source of love and strength for all who knew her. She is survived by her two daughters, Paula Lawson (Reece) and Lisa Ryan (John), and a legacy of joy through her grandchildren Mason Ryan, Hallie Trumbull, Evan Ryan, and Logan Ryan, as well as her great-grandchildren Christopher, Lily, and Milena. Mary also leaves behind her siblings, Edward Anderson and Dorothy Bryant, along with several beloved nieces and nephews. Mary's passions included sewing and crocheting, particularly quilting, where her creativity shone brightly. Her hand-crafted quilts became treasured family heirlooms, symbolizing the deep love she had for her family. Visitation at Monreal Srnick Funeral Home, located at 35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake, Ohio, on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service celebrating Mary's life will take place on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 10am also at the funeral home. Mary will be laid to rest at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland, Ohio. In lieu of flowers donations in honor of Mary can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
