Tomislav J. Stimac

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tomislav J. Stimac, fondly known as Tom, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025, at the age of 47. Born on September 29, 1977, in Euclid, OH, Tom lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to his family and career. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Jackie Stimac (nee Prots), with whom he shared 16 wonderful years. Together, they raised two beautiful children, Michaela and Luka, who were the absolute pride and joy of his life. He is also survived by his devoted mother, Marija Stimac, his beloved sister, Maggie Stimac and was a brother-in-law to Joni Prots and Jamie Bower (Aaron), his nieces, Maddie and Kenzie. Tom was a loving nephew to Ivan (Neda) Milkovic and Grgo (Katica) Stimac. He also leaves behind his cousins Peter, Tiana, Helen and Greg along with a host of friends who will remember him fondly. He was preceded in death by his father, Marijan Stimac. A kind and compassionate man, Tom was deeply committed to his work and had a fulfilling career at GE Lighting for 23 years before moving on to QP Manufacturing as an Electrical Engineer. Known for his skills as a handyman and his enthusiasm for sports-especially soccer and football-Tom took great pride in his Croatian heritage and shared this passion with those around him. Tom's greatest legacy lies in the love he imparted to his family. His unwavering support for Michaela and Luka's activities showcased his devotion as a husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Monreal Srnick Funeral Home, located at 35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake, OH 44095. A Funeral Mass will follow on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 9:30 AM at St. Mary's Assumption Church, 8560 Mentor Ave, Mentor, OH 44060. Tom will be laid to rest at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, OH.
