Mary Ann Vecchio

Of Pitcairn, age 79, died on Saturday, April 10, 2021.

Mary Ann was born on July 10, 1941, a daughter of Joseph and Leta Yannuzzo, and was the last surviving of 12 siblings.

Beloved wife of 53 years to the late Orelio "Rollo" Vecchio.

Loving and treasured mother of Frank (Debbie) Vecchio of Pitcairn and Carmen (Nina) Vecchio of Monroeville.

Precious grandmother of Natalie and Angelina Vecchio, to whom Mary Ann meant the world.

Sister-in-law of Elvira (late Stanley) Drzewinski of NJ, Rose (Louis) Mediate of export, Ermenia Vecchio and Louis Vecchio , both of Pitcairn and the late Ortenzo "Artie" (surviving spouse, Evelyn of FL) Vecchio.

Mary Ann is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann was the former manager of the Broadview Apartments Senior Building in Pitcairn and she was a former lunch aide at Mosside Elementary School in the Gateway School District. Above all else, Mary Ann lived her life for others.

Mass of Christian Burial with Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish at St. Michael Church in Pitcairn on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Mary Ann will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Mary Ann's family extends deep gratitude to all of the caregivers who have attended to her during her many health struggles.
