Mary Lee Vincent, 86, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025.
She was born January 8, 1939 to the late Thomas Marion and Strausia Lee (DeCasnett) Vincent in St. Joseph.
Mary dedicated her life to the noble profession of teaching, shaping the minds and futures of countless students as an English teacher. Not only was Mary committed to her work, but she also immersed herself in literature, finding joy and solace among the pages of books.
Mary's thirst for travelling took her across the globe. She sought out new experiences, learned about diverse cultures, and reveled in the beauty of the world, always returning with wonderful stories that captivated her listeners. Her love of travel was more than just a hobby for her.
Her kindness was palpable, students and colleagues alike were often touched by Mary's generous spirit and her ever-present desire to help and encourage others, something for what she will be deeply missed.
