RICHMOND, IN– Mary Ann Weaver, age 75, of Richmond, Indiana, died Saturday, May 24, 2025, in Colorado.
Born September 16, 1949, in Beech Grove, Indiana, to Joseph and Mary E. Biltz Richardson, Mary Ann came to this community from Mt. Vernon, Indiana in 1979. She was a 1967 graduate of Chartrand High School and also graduated from Ball State University in 1971. Mary Ann worked at Earlham College in the President's office and later in Institutional Research before retiring in 2011. She enjoyed piano, traveling, the outdoors, and line dancing. More than anything, Mary Ann loved Jesus. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Richmond as well as Gideons International. Mary Ann was active in Bible Study Fellowship and had been active in jail ministry. She had a heart dedicated to helping anyone in need. Mary Ann was proud to have visited every National Park in the United States. She loved children and loved her family deeply. Mary Ann was creative, musically talented, and loved doing devotions with her family. The following can be said of Mary Ann: She loved life, she loved deeply, she was loved deeply, she loved Jesus more.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Don Weaver; daughter, Kristy (James) Black of Blue Ash, Ohio; son, Ryan (Sally) Weaver, of Monument, Colorado; grandchildren, Noella and Madelyn Black, and Luke and Cole Weaver; sister, Jody (Bernie) O'Connor; brother, John (Gloria) Richardson; mother in law, Irene Weaver; brothers and sisters in law, John and Jan Weaver, Karen and Roy Seim, and Darlene O'Brien; a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for Mary Ann Weaver will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Additional visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at First Baptist Church, 1601 South A Street, Richmond, Indiana with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
