Mary E. "Liz" Weilandt, 84 of Delavan, died peacefully on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at the home of her daughter in Jefferson.

Liz was born on January 27, 1941, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Edward and Gladys (McCabe) Prasch. She was a 1958 graduate of St. Mel's Catholic High School in Chicago, and married Thomas G. Weilandt, Sr. on April 11, 1959. The couple had 6 children and enjoyed 44 years of marriage until his death in 2003. Liz loved to read, play cards, and watch British mystery movies. In her later years, Liz became interested in art and taught herself to paint. A proud homemaker and mother of 6, Sunday Spaghetti Dinners were always a big deal in the Weilandt household! The day was spent eating, singing, dancing, and spending time with the multiple generations of her family. Liz was a kind, compassionate, lady of faith, who made herself available to the ones she loved. Her children remember her constant willingness to help and share her wisdom. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by: her children Thomas G. (Harvey) Weilandt, Jr. of Delavan, Timothy E. (Mary) Weilandt of Winnetka, IL, Cynthia (John) Olson of Jefferson, Christine M. (Thomas) CdeBaca of Darien, and Terrance M. (Amy) Weilandt of Pleasant Prairie; 13 grandchildren, Jennifer, Katherine, Lawrence Jr. (Casey), Amanda, Thomas Jr. (Kelsey), Jacob (Holly), Daniel (Morgan), Jonathan, and Scott Natalie, Julia, Elise, Michael; 14 great-grandchildren Marcus (Emma), Jayceon, Victoria, Meladie, Iverness, Hailey, Chase, Hope, Oliver, Josey, Ella, Emma, Benjamin, and Bowen. Liz is also survived by other family members and friends.

Liz is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Constance A. Hojnowski (2005), and her brother Edward Prasch.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff of St. Croix Hospice, especially Erin, Star, Jodi and Rachel, for the loving care provided.
