Mary Ann White

Mary Ann White passed away at the age of 87 on Monday, October 20, 2025. She was born on March 27, 1938, to the late Michael and Ann (nee Cavanaugh) Gallagher in Cleveland, Ohio. Mary Ann graduated from the Lourdes Academy, class of 1956.

She married James White in November of 1956, shortly after graduation. She gave birth to their only daughter Cheryl in 1960. Mary Ann entered the workforce in 1968 working for Stouffers restaurants in a variety of roles.

In 1988 Mary Ann and James retired and did some traveling and eventually became snowbirds, traveling throughout Florida. Vero Beach was one of of their favorite places. Mary Ann was involved within her retirement community, made many friends and participated in many activities.

Mary Ann is survived by her beloved daughter Cheryl (nee White) Daugherty (Kevin); cherished granddaughters Shannon Cali (Matt) and Catherine Wenzell (Trevor); dear great-grandchildren Carson, Cora, Madeline, Carter, and Emerson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Ann Gallagher, baby brother Patrick, sister Diane Catherine Gallagher, and husband James White.

All services will be held at Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon- Belden Rd., Avon Lake, Ohio 44012 on Sunday, November 2, 2025. A memorial visitation will be held at 11:00 am with a funeral service at 12:00 pm. www.buschcares.com 440-933-3202
