Dennis Roy Sherba

Dennis Roy Sherba passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the age of 80. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 57 years, Jeanne Louise Sherba (née Scott); his loving sons Matthew and Michael (Kristin); and cherished grandchildren Emily, Mitchell, Amelia, Savannah, and Bristol.

Born on July 20, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio, Dennis was the son of the late Andrew and Pauline Sherba. He grew up in Parma, Ohio and graduated from Parma High School, Class of 1963. He honorably served in the United States Army before founding L-May Industries, a tool and die business. Through hard work and dedication, he built it into a successful company and retired after more than 40 years.

Dennis was a proud member of American Legion Post 211 in Avon Lake and a lifelong Cleveland sports fan. He had a remarkable green thumb and took great pride in tending his garden and greenhouse, growing a wide variety of vegetables each season. Above all, Dennis's greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought him endless happiness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Pauline Sherba; brother Norman (Maureen) Sherba; and sister Judy (Carl) Bayer.
