Mary Walls Woodrum, 103, died Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at her residence in Wilmore of Kentucky, she was born April 11,1922 in Lincoln County, Kentucky to the late Mack and Julie VanHook Walls. Mary retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lee Woodrum, daughters, Bonnie Chasteen, Connie Woodrum sons, Marvin Woodrum, Charles Woodrum, siblings, Wilson Walls, Harrison Walls, Arthur Walls, Pearl Walls, Rose Walls, Jim Walls, Britain Walls, and Ruth Walls. Mary is survived by her daughters, Shirley Holland, Wilma Gibson (David), Carol Monroe (Steve), sons, Garnett Woodrum (Lynn), Kenneth Woodrum, brother, Donald Walls (Betty), grandchildren, Mike Woodrum, Diana Woodrum, Tammy Woodrum, Brian Holland, Kathy Humphries, Karen Holland, Tracy Evans, David Turner, Shane Woodrum, Christy McIntosh, Jamie Murillo, Kevin Monroe, Amanda Stewart, Jason Woodrum, Lisa Bostok, Trish Graves, David Powell, Amy Dibos, Shanda Gaddie, Curtis Monroe, Chris Monroe, Ashley Land, numerous great grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Bluegrass Care Navigators.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 2:15 pm on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Versailles Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bryan Holland, David Turner, Shane Woodrum, Kevin Monroe, Chris Monroe, and Curtis Monroe Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Woodrum, Garnett Woodrum, Donald Walls, and Boonie Walls.
After the graveside service everyone is invited to Mary's house in Wilmore, to share memories and food.
Friends and family are encouraged to leave messages of condolences and memories on Mary's tribute wall.
