Mary Jane (Cronk) Yeager passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at the home of her daughter, Patricia, in Forest, Virginia. She was born on October 11, 1951, to Howard and Mary Cronk of Goshen, Virginia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Yeager, III, her sisters, Norma Jean Bixby and Judy Sams, her brother Howard (Buddy) Cronk, and her son-in-law, Todd Earhart.
Mary Jane is survived by her daughter, Patricia Yeager Earhart (Chris Browe) and her beloved grandsons, Elijah Hunter Earhart and Alexander James Earhart. She is also survived by her love, Harold Payne, whom she loved and adored for over twenty-five years.
Mary Jane was a graduate of Rockbridge County High School. She attended Madison College and later graduated from Blue Ridge Community College and The American Institute of Banking. After 40 years in banking, she retired in 2010 as a vice president and branch manager with Stellar One Bank.
A private graveside memorial service will be held at Goshen Baptist Church on Friday, November 21, 2025.
