Marylou Juanita Vlastuin

Marylou Juanita Vlastuin, 63, of Gentry Arkansas, passed away unexpectedly on December 15, 2023, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born on June 22, 1960 at Memorial Hospital in Springdale to Jimmy Rogers and Lula Bell Hicks of Rogers, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her husband Marvin Vlastuin of Gentry, son Eric McGuire of Gentry, granddaughter Savanah Stalhood of Nappanee, IN, sister Tammy Torres of Springdale, nephew Adrian Torres of Gentry, mother Lula Bell White of Gentry, step father Frank Martin Sr. of Arkoma, Ok, father Jimmy Rogers of Rogers, Ark, grandparents William and Lucille Hicks of Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
Mary is survived by one daughter, April Kantaphone and husband Ole of Springdale; three sons, Derek McGuire and wife Samantha of Springdale, Wayne McGuire Jr. and wife April of Arkoma, and Bo McGuire of Fayetteville; one brother Frank Martin Jr. and wife Jeanna of Alma; one sister Kim Surber and husband Nat of Centerton; six granddaughters, Hannah, Madison, Piper, Paige, Willow, Angel; eight grandsons, Dylan, Brandon, Mekin, Hayden, Corben, Ian, Kaiden, Isaiah; two nieces Marcela, Robyn; four nephews Jeff, Luke, Dustin, Adam; and lots of great nephews and nieces as well.
Mary worked as a CNA and loved caring for people. She loved her fur babies Ginger, Pepper, Midget, Bear and Chica. She loved being around her family and friends. She enjoyed watching scary movies and fishing in her spare time.
A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, December 23, in Springdale, Ark.
