Born in Milwaukee on September 9, 1958, Matt tackled life with a mix of headstrong determination and a hearty chuckle, always ready to reel in a good time. Mathew was a devoted father and grandfather who cherished his family above all else. He had a passion for fishing, cooking, listening to music, watching old shows, and was a devoted Green Bay Packers fan. Mathew spent the majority of his life working in construction and roofing.
Despite his stubborn nature, he had a heart of gold for his daughters, Tracy and Amanda Mauhar along with Jennifer and Tina Keizer, as well as his many beloved grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Goldie Mauhar, father, Mathew Mauhar Sr., brother, John Mauhar Sr., brother, Steve Mauhar Sr., and sister, Bonnie Mauhar Lutz.
Mathew will be dearly missed by all who knew him. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal services. The family invites those who knew Mathew to remember him in their own way, perhaps by enjoying a peaceful day by the water or a cherished old song, celebrating the simple joys he so loved.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
Rest in peace, Mathew Joseph Mauhar Jr. Your legacy lives on through the memories and love you shared with your family.

Jr and me were close he was stubborn, good hearted and very intelligent he was a jack of all trades but took pride in his work. Jr was always interested in reading and watching everything from history , science , cars and sports he is the only one in our family besides our dad that learned how to speak Croatian. I love you brother R.I.P.

Jr was my 1 brother that we understood each other no matter what was going on. we were both stubborn and bullheaded but at the end of the day , week or month LOL we were always family never turning on backs on each other. Jr I will miss you and always love you. Your daughters will forever have an angel watching over them. R.I.P. JR
