Matthew Bullock, Jr., AKA Junior, at the age of 60, a resident of Tampa Bay, FL, passed away on August 31, 2025, at his home. He was born in Kosciusko, MS, on August 24, 1965, the son of Matthew Bullock Sr. and Merlene James. Matthew Jr. attended Biloxi High School, where he graduated in 1984. He was known for his outstanding basketball skills.
Matthew Jr. spent his working career in construction, as a cement finisher.
Junior was preceded in death by his mother, Merlene James; grandparents: Theodore and Genive Bullock; four uncles: Andrew Ellis Singleton, Daniel Lee Bullock, Philip Lewis Sr., and JC Robinson; four aunts: Bessie Singleton, Almeta Bullock, Della Mae Robinson, and Dr. Stella Bullock Robinson.
Junior is survived by his father, Matthew Bullock Sr., one sister: Geniverv Catchings-Robichaux (Jason), four daughters: Colisha Graham of Biloxi, MS, Krashauna Bullock, Anastasia Bell, and Kalisha Pereira all of Tampa Bay, FL; twelve grandchildren: Corliyon Graham, Cy’asia Graham, Cayden Graham, Cyree Graham, Trinity Lambert, Serinity Lambert, Kalani Lambert, Malachi Lambert, Tamar Bowe, Tanejah Bien-aime, Ka’lajah Bien-aime, and Keyani Brown; one aunt: Bobbie B. Lewis of Metairie, LA, and one uncle: Emerson Robinson of Berkeley, CA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 11:00 am, at Infinity Funeral Home Chapel.
