Robert Edward “Bobby” Bullock, Jr., a native of Lumberton, MS and born in Perry, FL in 1959, went home to be with Jesus, on March 27, 2025, at the age of 66 in his Biloxi home.
Robert is a graduate of Belle Chasse High School in Belle Chasse, LA and FETA-LA Fire and Emergency Academy in Baton Rouge, LA where he also taught future emergency responders. After 30 years of service, he retired from being a Firefighter/First Responder for the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base of Belle Chasse, LA. Besides Robert's family, he dedicated his life and his career to helping others in need. His big heart, which was shown over the years through helping and saving others became a way of life for him, and it was the beginning of Heavenly Sent Emergency Road Service. When Robert was not working, he loved Waffle House coffee, fishing, bowling, watching football and racing and playing with his grandchildren and in his younger years he played baseball.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Bullock, Sr. and Florence E. Reid; his 3 baby brothers; his granddaughter, Arianna Bullock; and several aunts and uncles.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Berthile R. “Sue” Bullock of Biloxi, MS; his daughters, Venus Marie of Woolmarket and Sarah (James) Horne of Vancleave; his sons, Robert Bullock, III of Picayune and Daniel (Renee) Bullock of Sulphur, LA; 19 grandkids, Victoria, Robert, Jacob, Haley, Samantha, Alvin, Wyatt, Amelia, Courtney, Maryann, Robert IV, James, Jackie, Amber, David, and Raylinn; and 24 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his 3 sisters, Elizabeth (Kevin) LeCount, Carolyn Bullock and Brenda Bullock; 2 brothers-in-law, Alvin (Cheryl) Richthofen, III and William Richthofen; and other family members.
Robert will be dearly missed by everyone that he has touched or helped throughout his life.
There will be a Celebration of Life service at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi, MS on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 2:00 pm. Friends may visit from 1:00 pm until service time.
