Matthew N. Calio, on January 4, 2024, of Cherry Hill. Age 50. Beloved Son of the Late Irene Gendron and Step son of Daniel Gendron. Son of Nick Calio (Florie). Dear brother of John (Aimee), Michael Gendron, and Chris Gendron (Melissa). Caring Uncle of Sherman, Christina, Caleb, Samantha, and Zachary. Also survived by many other family and friends.
Matthew was a long time officer with the Camden County Department of Corrections. He had an enthusiastic smile that could transform a room and never knew a stranger. He enjoyed the finer things in life which included being a connoisseur of art, antiques, as well as fine dining. He will be missed by many.
There will be a viewing on Friday, from 9am to 11am, at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Service to follow at 11am. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 500 Delsea Dr. Sewell, NJ 08080
