Matthew Ryan David's musical talents were added to the symphonies of Heaven on July 8th, 2025. At the age of almost 32, he became a hero by selflessly giving the gift of life to people on the organ transplant wait lists. Though for our family, 32 years will never be enough, what a vibrant life he lived while here. Matthew (Matt) was a free spirit, living a life filled with unmatched artistry, passion for music and a love for his family that filled those around him with endless warmth. By saying "family," one might think of people, but Matt's love extended far beyond humans to the many, many animals he cherished over the years. They were his pride and joy.

With friends, Matt was known to add just as much uniqueness and laughter to the outings and jam sessions they shared. One of Matt's most enduring loves throughout his life was music, specifically playing the guitar. He was involved in a band and attended many concerts with his friends and family. He found ample opportunities throughout his life to play. His wife and immediate family were often serenaded with the sounds of his guitar soaring through the house.

Matthew married the love of his life, Ulfat Kurbanova-David (Lola), on July 29, 2022. Their marriage was a source of light and happiness for both Lola and Matt. He gained a stepdaughter named Selma through this marriage. Matthew and Selma had a close bond, and Matt was there for every milestone he could be, such as both her high school and college graduation.

Matthew was also very invested in his brothers' lives, especially his "baby bro" Joseph. Matt took great pride in the fact that he took care of his "little bro" since the day he was born. They had special names for each other and shared a silly language they made up. In their free time, Joseph, Matthew and Tom could be found playing video games together. Some of the games he loved were Grand Theft Auto, Runescape and Skyrim the Elder Scrolls.

While a few words could never be enough to summarize the wonderful person that Matthew was, his soul lives on in the people who love him and the memories they shared.
