Matthew P. Devlin

Matthew P. Devlin of Penn Township and Los Angeles, CA, 41, passed away accidentally on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2024. Matt was the beloved son of, Marie (Kellar) Devlin of Penn Township and the late B. Thomas Devlin; and the dear brother of Ryan T. Devlin. He was the cherished grandson of Millie Kellar Utt and her husband, the late Larry Utt. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert M. Kellar; and his paternal grandparents, James 'Bernie' Devlin and Catherine 'Kitty' Devlin. Matt is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Matt was a 2002 graduate of Greensburg Central Catholic and, upon relocating to Los Angeles, became a Set Dresser in the Hollywood film industry. In his youth, Matt was an accomplished BMX bicycle racer. As an adult, he was enthusiastic and passionate about exercising and keeping in shape and encouraging others to do so. Matthew's life can be marked by his generous and giving ways, his deep love for his family and his sensitivity toward others. All are welcome on Tuesday, Sept. 3, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 4, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at PATRICK T. Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Barbara Church, Harrison City, on Thursday at 11 a.m. Matt will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery.
