Matthew leaves behind a loving family, including his son, Luke Diaz (Brea Diaz), his siblings, Sarah Lacy (Duane Lacy) and Sierra Diaz, his nieces and nephews, Ceana, Desiree, Scarlett, Tristan, and Alo, as well as many other friends and extended family.
A passionate cook and writer, Matthew shared many special moments with those close to him, especially his mother, creating lasting memories through their many shared interests. Throughout his life, Matthew faced numerous challenges but demonstrated incredible resilience, showing strength and perseverance through even the toughest of times.
Though he faced struggles, Matthew's heart remained full of care for others, and he always carried love for his family, friends, and the people in his life. He deeply longed for peace in his mind and spirit, a peace that eluded him for so long. Now, he has found that peace, and his family takes comfort knowing he is no longer in pain.
Matthew's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
