Matthew Bartley Dills

Matthew Dills, age 50, of Wallburg, passed away on August 25, 2022.
Matthew was born on April 28, 1972 in Guilford County to Walter and Dorothy Dills. Matthew was a beloved husband, father, brother, son, uncle, and a friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Dills.
Surviving family to carry on his memory include his wife of 25 years, Tammy, and their two children, Thomas and Hannah; his mother, Dorothy Dills; brother, Samuel Dills (and wife Katy); and two nieces, Addie (and husband Tyler) and Emma.
Matthew also has numerous extended family members and wonderful friends who he felt as close to as family who will miss him tremendously.
Anyone who knew Matthew knows that his first love was his family. His greatest passion, after family, was playing Disc Golf. In any given month, you could find him on the course at least 2-3 days a week. His friends on the course were counted as family in his heart.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM ay Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
