Dear Finkel family. Matt was one of my daughter Chloe´s dearest friends in high school & together at St. Rose, not a week went by without her telling a great Frankel story. He made such a tremendous impact on everyone that was blessed enough to know him.

Words cannot express our sadness at Mattie´s passing. Matt´s smile and sense of humor will be his legacy and will live on in anyone who ever saw his boyish grin. We have memories of that smile all the way back to JCC , baseball tournaments and of course lacrosse games. He will be truly missed but dearly remembered.

It seems like just yesterday that Jayson and Brian were playing baseball with Matt wanting so badly to get in there with them. There are no words to adequately express our family´s devastation over the untimely passing of one of our family´s very favorite household regulars. Matt was a bright light and shining star. He was full of life and such a kind, compassionate, sweet friend. Always willing to be there for his friends. Matt´s smile was contagious and we loved him. As you know our boys and youngest daughter were very close to Matt, and the love they had for him was deep. We have so many happy memories of our time with Matt. His passing is a painful loss for all of us who knew and loved him. Our family´s warm thoughts and prayers are with you at this deeply sorrowful time. My deepest and most dear condolences for You all.
I had the pleasure of knowing Matt as a lacrosse son, he and my son John Matthew played together at St Rose, and we´re roommates. Matt Frankel was a great kid, he was so comfortable around me as one of the dad´s. The boys tried to plan a golf outing with all of the dad´s, that never came to be. I thought of him frequently when I thought of my son and all of his beautiful friends and teammates he had with Saint Rose. Rest In Peace Matthew, I will always honor you with my thoughts and prayers.
