Matthew P. Garlock

MATTHEW P. GARLOCK, age 49, passed away June 25, 2025. Survived by his loving children Rachel and Sean and their mother Jill (nee Satanek); parents John and Katie (nee Lafferty); siblings Angela Moore and Joseph (Crystal Schauf); and his puppy companion Cash. Dear nephew, uncle, cousin and friend. Preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph and Patricia Garlock, John and Peggy Lafferty, brother-in-law Eric Moore and godfather Tim Garlock. Proud graduate of the University of Notre Dame. Matt was an avid guitar player, a lover of the food network and a die-hard fan of Notre Dame football. He had many passions in his life, but none more than his children. He loved to brag online and to all who would listen about their many talents and accomplishments. They are his greatest legacy. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Thursday, July 3 at St. Bernadette Church, 2256 Clague Road, Westlake. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment private.
