Matthew Goodchild Obituary
Born in Attleboro, he was the son of Sally (Anderson) Corrigan of Brewster and Stewart P. Goodchild of Attleboro. Raised in the Shangri-la section of Wareham, Matthew enjoyed camping at Papoose Pond, fishing, hiking, the outdoors and was a huge Celtics fan. He also loved spending time with family, friends and loved ones. Matthew mostly loved spending time with his daughter Aubrey, who was the greatest love of his life and best friend. He cherished every moment spent with her.
He is survived by his daughter, Aubrey Grace Goodchild of Wareham; his partner, Jaymie Dyer of Wareham; his mother, Sally Corrigan of Brewster; his father, Stewart P. Goodchild of Attleboro; his step-father, Scott Corrigan of Brewster; his siblings, Danielle Bellavance of Norton, Heather Lake and her husband James of New Bedford, and Adam Goodchild of New Bedford; his nieces and nephews, Noah Whitten, Alana Noble, Emeson Noble, Devyn Lake, Trey Lake, and Lilly Bellavance. He was predeceased by his nephew, the late Michael Bellavance.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 4 to 7 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
