Matthew Aaron Jump, 34 of Brownsburg, passed away on October 11, 2024. He was born on November 10, 1989, in Indianapolis to Gary L. and Lynn M. (Gipe) Jump. Matthew graduated from Danville Community High School in 2008 and then attended Universal Technical Institute in Orlando, Florida. He worked as an automotive technician for many years. Matt was creative, a gifted guitarist, loved his family, his dogs, and the outdoors. He had a big heart and a great sense of humor, and thoroughly enjoyed making people laugh. He was a member of the NRA and an avid Formula 1 racing fan. Survivors include his parents, Gary and Lynn Jump of Brownsburg; sister, Kasey Rouse of Indianapolis; and best friend, Will C. Paddack. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Westlake Community Church, 6696 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, with burial to follow in the Danville South Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at the church and also one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Misty Eyes Animal Center, 616 S CR 800 E Avon, IN 46123 or The Willow Treatment & Recovery Center, 515 North Green St, 402, Brownsburg, IN 46112. Baker Funeral Home, Danville, is handling the arrangements.
