Phillis Carroll Litton, 80 of Katy, Texas, passed away on February 08, 2026. She was born on October 26, 1945 in Oneida, Tennessee, to the late Lillian (Ross) and Ovia Litton. Phillis received her master’s degree and bachelor’s degree from Cumberland College in Kentucky. She was a school teacher for 40 plus years. In her spare time she enjoyed hunting for antiques.
Survivors include her daughter, Victoria Johnson (Tai) of Katy, TX.; brothers, Burdis H. Litton (Jill) of Marietta, GA., Bruce Litton of Indianapolis; 3 grandchildren, Nicole Mendez, Sage and River Johnson. Her parents and brothers, Donnie W. Litton and Dennis Litton, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026 with visitation from 9:30 a.m. in the Maple Hill Cemetery Chapel with Reverend Ben Wakefield officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum. Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, is handling the local arrangements.
