From his days at Hall School to his days at Harding High School, he could be found blazing a trail down Newfield Ave where many of his fun filled "crazy" adventures began. Nothing in this world brought Matthew more joy than being a FATHER! And that love is what he carried with him til the very end.
Matthew is preceded in death by his Mother Flora Yvonne McNeil, His Maternal Grandmother Diane McNeil, Maternal Grandfather Clarence Rogers, His Paternal Grandmother Lorrain Nesmith and His Paternal Grandfather Matthew Nesmith.
He leaves to honor his memory his Father Matthew Nesmith Jr. (Nichelle Bass-Nesmith), Children Amari Nesmith and Matthew Nesmith IV, His Brothers Tavon Nesmith (Denita Davis, Tayla Nesmith, Tavon Nesmith Jr.) Philip Leroy III, Sisters Maishiyah "Shay" Brown (Mason Carter Smith), Carrie Buster, Dyamond Leroy (Amaya Grace Johnson, Josiah Johnson) along with a host of Aunties, Uncles and Cousins loved ones and friends.
