Matthew C. Petronis Jr., of Pennsauken passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 3, 2022 at 67 years. Beloved husband of Patricia "Pat" (nee Vokes); Devoted father of Mary Catherine (Nicholas) Kolb and Regina Petronis; Cherished grandfather of Noah Kolb; Dear brother of Christine (Joseph) Nardello and Robert (Debra) Petronis; Also survived by many loving brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews.
Prior to retirement, Matt was a proud member of Philadelphia Union Local #14 and was elected as the Credit Union president for many years. His sense of humor was unmatched, he was the life of the party and a great joke teller. He dedicated many years to his church, St. Stephens, where he volunteered his time with baking the best donuts and running the bingo games. He also spent many years coaching his daughter's PYAA Softball teams and dedicated many hours at Woodbine Swim Club helping the swim team. He enjoyed traveling, golfing, live concerts with his wife and had a passion for all kinds of music. He will be remembered most for his dedication to his family and friends and his greatest joy was his precious grandson.

My uncle Matty was always my favorite. Every time I saw him, his hat would go to the side and I could expect to hear "Hey gurrrrrl". He was the funniest person you´d ever meet. The jokes would have you laughing until you cried, or peed yourself. The love he had for my aunt Patsy and the girls was so pure and true, it was all over his face. I will love you and miss you forever and always. I will cherish our memories for a lifetime.
