It´s February 2024 and I just found out Matt has passed away. This is unbelievable. Matt was like the brother I never had. Condolences to the family. God Bless you Matt.

Dear Pryor family,
Michelle and I want to offer our condolences. When we heard about Matthews passing Michelle went to our wedding book and pulled out his card. It was a hand written card about trying to figure out what to get us. A razor was attached as he remembered that I often did not shave when we roomed together in A2. That is and always will be Matt. Michelle loves the card, which is why she kept it for all these years.
We had many moments of friendship on the baseball and football fields. Without Matt I would never have kept my eyes open behind the plate when Mr. Pryor was pitching. Wow that guy could throw a ball.
He was always a good person regardless of whether he was working on a steep roof to earn money for college, volunteering to walk girls home from the library as part of his church group, counseling troubled boys as part of Rev. Holland's ministries or just being a friend. God bless you my friend you will be missed but not forgotten.

Matt was good friends with Audre Zembrzuski and will be highly missed. They used to do Troy Council meetings together and Audre helped campaign for Matt when he ran for Representative of Michigan.
