Matthew Cory Rayborn

Matthew Cory Rayborn, 40, of Kiln, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Born on December 24, 1984, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Matthew was the beloved son of Hubert "H.G." Rayborn and Patricia (Jones) Young. He was a proud graduate of Hancock High School and earned a Special Education Certificate from Gulf Coast Community College. Passionate about helping others, Matthew worked as a Special Education Assistant at West Hancock, where he made a lasting impact on his students.
Matthew had a deep love for the outdoors and sports. He enjoyed fishing, coaching, football, baseball, and cooking. Above all, he will be remembered as a devoted son, brother, husband, and father, whose love and dedication to his family were unwavering. He is survived by his wife, Lindsey Ladner, and his cherished children: Bralen, Branson, Matalin, Korvyn, Kraetyn, and Kaestyn Rayborn, as well as Anslea, Kohner, and Kylan Dedeaux. He is also survived by his mother, Patricia Young of Purvis, Mississippi; his father, H.G. Rayborn of Baxterville, Mississippi; and his siblings, Patrick Simmons of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Amanda Hill of Poplarville, Mississippi. Matthew was preceded in death by his beloved son, Kohvyn Rayborn.
