Matthew Ryan Sagarino, affectionately known as “Sags” passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at his home in Stoneham. He is 19 years of age.
Born on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 in Winchester, Matthew is the beloved son of Paul Sagarino and Maria (Roberto) Sagarino. Matthew is a funny, kind, gentle, warm and loyal son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend who will be deeply missed.
Matthew had finished his first year at Coastal Carolina University and was looking forward to moving back to school for his sophomore year. He spent his summer working at the Winchester Country Club Golf Course. He also started taking more of an interest in his golf game and was most recently proud of the Eagle he shot on Sagamore Golf Course.
Above all else, Matthew loved spending time with his friends. To know Sags was to love him. He made a lasting impression on everyone he met. Matthew was an absolute joy to his family for the brief time they were blessed to have him. Matthew’s kindness and love of life will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Matt is the dear brother of Christina Sagarino and her fiancé Andrew Cann. The cherished grandson of Donald and Debbi (Martini) Roberto and Paul and Joanne (Kerrigan) Sagarino, Matt is the loving nephew of Anthony and his wife Val Roberto, Nikki Roberto and her husband Dylan Figelski and John Sagarino and his wife Lynn.
