Gloria J. (Troisi) Mandracchia, 90, of Stoneham and formerly of Chelsea passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was the cherished wife of the late John S. Mandracchia, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage.
Born in Chelsea on February 14, 1935 she was the loving daughter of the late Anthony and Helen (Zaions) Troisi. Gloria worked at Hoods Ice Cream Plant in Charlestown for 25 years in Quality Control and in her later years worked at Stop and Shop in Stoneham in Health and Beauty Care. She was always a person whom others could depend and rely upon. Gloria tirelessly cared for many sick family members and stood by them in their every need. She enjoyed cooking, baking delicious desserts from scratch, and spending time with her family. Her love, work ethic, and loyalty will be truly missed.
Gloria was the loving mother of Kristen Armano and her husband Paul. She was the cherished grandmother of Amanda and Alyssa Armano. The dear sister of the late Helene Troisi, she was the beloved sister-in-law of Marie Mandracchia and her husband the late Charles Mandracchia, the late Josephine Saraceno and her husband the late Joseph Saraceno, and the late Fred Mandracchia. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are kindly invited to gather for visiting hours and to share memories with Gloria’s family on Friday, October 24th from 5pm to 8pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM, on Saturday October 25th at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Gloria’s Eternal Life at Saint Patrick Church, 71 Central Street Stoneham at 10am. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
