Matthew Walden Obituary
Funeral services for Matthew Michael Walden, 39, will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd. in Shreveport. A visitation will be held Monday, November 20, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Coy Fuqua.
Matthew was born June 10, 1984 to Michael and Janice “Sue” Walden in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Matthew graduated from Southwood High School in Shreveport. He was always a very generous person, highly intelligent, very artistic, and an animal lover. He was a filmmaker and appeared in numerous movies as an extra. His favorite hobby was playing video games.
Matthew is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. N.R. Leonard and Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Walden. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Walden.
Honoring Matthew as pallbearers will be Dustin Lincoln, Wayne Foster, Jeff Foster, Lamar Nunnery, Henry Tillman, Kyle Tillman, and Earl Stout.
The family will forever love and cherish his memory.
