Maude worked for the United States Postal Service for 19 years retiring from the Addison Post office in 2005. She was great for the outdoors; planting flowers, relaxing by her pond, and enjoying what nature had to offer.
Maude is survived by her husband, Dan Clark of Addison; two sons: Kenneth M. (Helen) Wilson of Addison, NY, Timothy L. (Jennifer) Wilson of Savona, NY; step daughter: Jessica (Don) Burgoyne of Potsdam, NY; four grandchildren: Maria (Stephen) Brown of Tampa, FL, Logan (Sarah) Wilson of Arkport, NY, Jordan (David Ratchford) Wilson of Campbell, NY, Michael (Emily) Wilson of Lincoln, NE; step grandson: Noah Burgoyne of Potsdam, NY; great-grandchildren: Wyatt and Clark; sister: Grace Hitchcock of Addison, NY; sister in law: Linda (Bob) Shoup of FL; nieces: Irene Benjamin Hall of Addison, NY, Deborah Miller of Addison, NY, Michelle Burdick of Painted Post, NY; nephew: James Burdick of Painted Post, NY, Monte Burdick of Addison, NY; cousin: Jeannine Wilson of Wellsville, NY, along with several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Maude was predeceased by the father of her children, James Wilson; her sisters: Beverly Miller and Kathy Burdick; nephews: Mert and Dwight Miller.
Memorial donations can be made to your local SPCA.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Flint Funeral Home, 10 Wall Street, Addison, NY on Monday, March 13, 2023 at 6:00pm with Pastor Jamie Miller officiating. It was Maude's wish that her family celebrate her life and honor it by sharing their love with one another.
She was here, now she is gone, you go enjoy life and love one another!

Oh my I couldn't believe when I heard that sissy was gone my new sissy from the post office worked with her quite a few years she really was a wonderful person and when I worked with her she was having her personal troubles but she didn't never let it get in the way of her job I know Sissy will be missed by many people who knew her and loved her I truly am sorry for her passing will truly miss her I'm so so sorry your lost
