In Loving Memory of Maureen Angela Batchelor
Maureen Angela Batchelor, born on December 4th, 1949, in St. Andrew, Jamaica, peacefully departed this world, leaving a legacy of love and compassion. She was the beloved wife of Gladstone Batchelor and a devoted mother to five children.
Maureen dedicated her life to nursing at Bellevue Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica, displaying unwavering dedication to helping others. A faithful member of the Seventh-day Adventist community, her life exemplified love, faith, and kindness.
Upon migrating to the United States, Maureen continued to spread love and joy. She is survived by her husband, Gladstone Batchelor, and children Jacqueline Hall, Ian Batchelor, Lilias Batchelor, Damian Batchelor, and Curtis Batchelor.
Survived by sisters Jeneva Jones and Sharon Lewis-Ducille; brothers Winston Hibbert and LeRoy Hibbert.
Maureen's loving spirit embraced all children Heather Batchelor-Clarke, Garth Batchelor, Marsha Batchelor, Cleveland Batchelor, Omar Baker, and Ryan Virtue.
Her legacy extends to grandchildren: Alexander Hall, Xavia Batchelor, Alexis Demontegnac, Dania Batchelor, Shyla Davis, Malaya King, Damian Batchelor Jr., Saige Demontegnac, Dayne Batchelor, Isabella Demontegnac, Nicolette Clarke-Bryan, Nathea Clarke, Nigel Clarke, Marshae Batchelor, Dejhawn Batchelor, Gary Batchelor, Carsia Batchelor, Keron Batchelor, Javier Batchelor, Aleeya Batchelor, and plenty cousins, nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, church family, and friends.
Maureen's warmth reached (daughters-in-laws) Laytesha Batchelor, Lesley Batchelor, and Tiffany Batchelor; (son-in-laws) Patrick Clarke, Alex Hall, William Osby Jr., and Rodrick Demontegnac.
She was proceeded in death by her (mother) Mabel Young, (father) Leebert Hibbert, and (brother) Garth Hibbert.
Maureen departed on January 5, 2024, as we mourn, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the impact she made. May her soul find eternal peace.
