Maureen H. Dunn

Maureen H. (Fogarty) Dunn died on November 2, 2025 at her home on Cape Cod.

She was the beloved wife of the late William L. Dunn, who passed in 2010. She was also predeceased by her parents John and Helen Fogarty and her brother John.

Born and raised in Worcester, she was a 1960 graduate of South High School. She also graduated from Salter Secretarial School. She was a former resident of Holden and worked at several banks over the years.

Maureen liked spending time at the beach and her walks with friends Scott and Julie. She also looked forward to spending time with her lifelong friends Kathy, Joan and Maureen. Maureen loved living on the Cape for the last 28 years.

Most of all, Maureen enjoyed spending time with her family and following her grandchildren's activities and sports.

Maureen is survived by her three sons, Peter J. Dunn and wife Kristen of Yarmouthport, Steven W. Dunn and wife Karin of Exeter, NH, and Paul J. Dunn and his girlfriend Erin Sullivan of Old Orchard Beach, ME. She leaves six grandchildren: Michael, Brandon, Shelby, Erica, Kelsey and Alison and cousins Rick Healy and Frank Dunn.

The family wishes to thank her doctors at Dana Farber and the staff of Beacon Hospice for their exceptional care.

Per mom's request there will be no calling hours. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Tuesday November 11, 2025, at St. Pius Church, 5 Barbara St. South Yarmouth, MA

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be made to Dana Farber or Beacon Hospice in Hyannis.
