Obituary of Maureen A. Morgan
Maureen A. Morgan, 79, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Alice Harvey.
Maureen began working as a controller right out of high school at William H. Sadlier in New York City and continued there for 50 years until her retirement. Maureen loved to travel with her husband, Jim, spend time with her siblings, and spend time with her longtime friend and neighbor, Jennifer. She loved the beach and her cat, Lady Grey. Known as Muno to her grandsons, she loved it whenever she saw "the boys," Blake, Gavin, and Kyle.
In addition to her parents, Maureen was preceded in death by her brother Francis Harvey and sisters Margaret Harvey and Kathleen Harvey. She is survived by her husband, James Morgan; stepdaughter Debbie Glass, wife of Greg; 3 grandsons, Blake, Gavin, and Kyle Glass; sister-in-law Constance Harvey; and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express deep gratitude to the staff of Magnolias of Lancaster and Grane Hospice for their love, care, and support for Maureen.
