Maurice William Dultmeier, 95, Topeka, Kansas, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022.
Maurice was born August 2, 1926, in Baileyville, Kansas, the son of August and Rose Broxterman Dultmeier. He graduated from St. Peter and Paul High School in Seneca, Kansas, and joined the United States Navy. Maurice served on the USS Rockwell. He married Betty Lou Mayer and they were blessed with four children, Michael, Stephen, Charles and Sallie Dultmeier; they later divorced. Maurice married Joyce Schreiner. He worked with his family at Dultmeier Construction, building homes. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and was involved in several different ministries. Maurice enjoyed dancing, water skiing and camping.
Maurice is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Charles Dultmeier (Cheryl) and Sallie Dultmeier; grandchildren, Steve Dultmeier (Marlene), Jamie Davidson (Steve), Brian Dultmeier (Traci), Heather Beckman (Todd), Melissa Mapes (David) and Mikaela Doemland; great-grandchildren, Drew, Riley and Zach Dultmeier, Carmen, Steven and Rosie Davidson, Dalton and Devin Dultmeier, and Trevor, Brody and Griffin Beckman; stepson, Doug Schreiner; siblings, Leon Dultmeier (Mary), Grace Dehner, Marlene Carper, Alice Quayle (Tom), Carole Hunninghake, Doris Brockish (Dave), and Ron Dultmeier. He was preceded in death by his sons, Michael and Stephen Dultmeier, siblings, Paul, Galen, Barbara, and AJ Dultmeier, and Regina Hanson.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5973 SW 25th Street, Topeka KS 66614, with rosary being prayed at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church. Condolences may be sent online to www.kevinbrennanfamily.com.
