Maurice Anthony "Reese" Holden

Maurice Anthony Holden, beloved son of the late Joseph Rice and Linda Dorsey, was born on July 9, 1981 in Nassawadox, Virginia. He was tragically taken from this life on November 1, 2024 in Mappsville, Virginia.
"Reese," as he was affectionately known by family and friends, was educated in the public schools of Accomack County. In later years, he earned his GED. He was employed by Tyson Foods in Temperanceville, Virginia.
Reese was known for his jovial spirit, he was named the family comedian. He always kept his family and friends laughing. In his spare time, Reese enjoyed listening to music and traveling.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory his children, Brishana Holden, Bre'yonce Holden, Breonna Holden, Marzhia Johnson, and Zi'Mir Fletcher; grandchildren, Jayce Marine, Za'Khi Ryans, and Uriah Johnson; siblings, Shonya Holden, Latoya Joynes, Joseph Holden, Kevin Rice, Annette Austin, Queenie Rice, and Maxine Stafford; aunts, Ruth Entzminger, Sandra Dorsey, Patricia Dorsey, and Sharon Holden; uncles, Gralyn Dorsey, Shelton Dorsey, and Johnny Dorsey; in-laws, Tre'mayne Joynes, Gregory Lewis, and Carla Holden; special friends, Patricia Johnson and Shawanda Tity; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
