Maurice P. "Moe" Lefebvre passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025 at Green Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation at the age of 92.
Moe grew up in Winooski. He enlisted in the Army in 1951 and spent time in Korea. When he returned, he served several years as a reservist and was honorably discharged in 1961. He was a proud veteran.
He began a long career at IBM and retired in 1990. He was proud to say he had been retired longer than he worked.
Moe enjoyed golfing and maintaining a meticulous yard. He was a gifted carpenter and built several additions to his house, he loved to cook and was known for making a great meal out of whatever he had on hand. Moe and his longtime, loving companion Elizabeth "Betty" Northrup enjoyed trying their luck traveling to various casinos.
Moe was predeceased by his wife Lucille Lefebvre in 1999, his parents and brothers Lawrence "Bud", Bernard, Armand and two infant brothers.
He is survived by his daughter Deborah (David) Rolandini of East Fairfield, Grandson Derek Rolandini, Milton, Granddaughter Nicole (Brooke) Taber, Milton and Great Grandchildren Dominic, Vito and Gia Rolandini, Greyson and Austin Taber, his brother Paul "Skip" Lefebvre and sisters Tina Sexton and Janice Francisco, several nieces and nephews and companion Betty Northrup.
A private graveside service will be held July 11th at 10AM, at Resurrection Park Cemetery, Hinesburg Rd, South Burlington. Arrangements are in the care of Corbin and Palmer Funeral Home.
Thank you to the entire staff at Green Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation for their compassionate, loving care during his stay. A special thank you to Dr. Daniel Tartaglia for his caring support and guidance. If you wish, in lieu of flowers, Moe requested donations be made to Essex Rescue, Inc. 1 Education Drive, Essex Junction, VT 05452.
